The Story Behind Milos Built

Meet the founder

With over 10 years of experience in the construction industry, including working as a Construction Supervisor for one of Victoria’s largest residential volume builders, I have developed a strong understanding of the building process from slab stage through to completion. Throughout my career, I’ve learned that successful projects come down to careful planning, clear communication, quality workmanship and staying on top of every detail. I understand how to coordinate projects efficiently, manage timelines and ensure work is completed to a high standard. Most importantly, I believe in listening to my clients and putting their needs first. I started this business to bring that experience and knowledge to a more personal, hands-on renovation experience — helping clients create homes they are proud of and love coming back to.

01

Can I trust you?

You'll meet Anna before anything is signed, walk through real projects, and speak to past clients if you'd like to. Nothing is oversold, and if a job isn't right for us we'll say so.

02

Will the price change?

Your quote is itemised and explained line by line. If something unexpected turns up behind a wall, you hear about it that day, with options and costs, before any work continues.

03

Will you finish on time?

Every project has a written schedule with milestones. Trades are booked in sequence before we start, not found along the way.

04

Will you respect my home?

Floors covered, dust contained, tools packed away each evening. Trades who take their boots off. Neighbours told before the noisy days.

05

Will communication be easy?

One contact: Anna. A written update every week with photos, and a reply within one business day. You should never wonder what happens next.

06

Will I actually enjoy this?

That's the aim. Calm, organised and, more often than people expect, fun. Choosing tiles should feel like the good part, because it is.

The MILOS Method

Four clear steps. From vision to completion.

From the first conversation to the final finish, we keep your renovation clear, organised and moving forward. You’ll always know what’s happening, what comes next and who is taking care of it.

1

A conversation

Ask MILOS, and Anna will visit your home, listen to how you live and what isn't working, and give you an honest sense of what's possible and what it might cost.

2

A plan you can read

A clear scope, an itemised quote and a written schedule. Every line explained, every question answered before you decide anything.

3

The build, looked after

Anna's trusted trades, booked in sequence. Weekly written updates with photos, a tidy site each evening, and one number to call.

4

The handover

A walkthrough together, a snag list fixed promptly, and Anna still picking up the phone long after the last invoice.

No obligation. Anna replies personally within one business day.
What homeowners say

Kind words, the specific kind.

We'd rather you hear about the Friday updates and the clean floors than read the word "quality" one more time.

Sample quotes. Real testimonials and Google reviews to follow.

Anna said five weeks and it was five weeks. Every Friday we got a message with photos and what was happening next. Nobody has ever done that for us.

Sarah and Tom Kitchen, Hawthorn

Two kids under five and a dog, and the site was tidy every single night. Our neighbours commented on how quiet it all was.

Priya Bathroom, Brunswick

Anna talked us out of the more expensive option because it wouldn't suit the house. Who does that? We'd have her back tomorrow.

Good questions

The things people ask before they call.

If yours isn't here, ask it. There's no such thing as too early or too small.

How much will my renovation cost?
It depends on the scope, the finishes you choose and the condition of what's there now, which is why we don't publish a price list. What we do is give you a realistic range early, after a visit, and then an itemised quote with each line explained, so you can decide before anyone lifts a tool. If something unexpected appears mid-project you'll hear about it the same day, with options.
Is my project too small?
No. Painting a bedroom gets the same planning, the same trades and the same care as rebuilding a kitchen. Many of our larger projects started as a small one that went well.
How long will it take?
As a guide, a bathroom usually takes three to four weeks, a kitchen four to six, and painting anywhere from a few days to a week or so. You'll have a written schedule before we start and a weekly update while we're there, so the guide becomes a plan.
Can we live at home while the work is happening?
Usually, yes, and we plan for it: a temporary kitchen set up somewhere sensible, the bathroom kept usable for as long as possible, dust barriers on doorways, and quiet hours if you work from home or have a baby napping.
Who will actually be in my house?
Tradespeople Anna has worked with directly, booked in the right order. Anna is on site regularly and is your only point of contact throughout, so you never have to chase a plumber yourself.
Do you handle permits and approvals?
Where your project needs them, yes. Anna will tell you up front whether a permit is likely, what it involves and how long it adds, and she manages the process alongside the build.
Ask MILOS

Tell us what you have in mind.

A quick message is all it takes to get the conversation started. Anna personally reads every enquiry and will get back to you within one business day. No obligation, no pressure — just a friendly conversation about your home, your ideas and what you’d like to achieve.
